I think the most signifecent stanza in the whole stanza is
The naked hulk along side came
And the twain were casting dice
“The game is done is done!I’ve won !I’ve won”
Quoth she and whistles thrice.
I’ve chosen this stanza because it say what’s happened to the game there playing and whose won the game and I find this helpful because if you read the rest of the poem you wouldn’t know who won and when you’re watching a match you would won’t to know who won
and that’s why I think it is or one of the most important stanza in the poem.

  1. You’re right, there is something very striking about this stanza. I like to try and think of what the game might represent – what are your thoughts on this? What will each person win or lose? Why?

    1) Learn the difference between their, there and they’re (be careful with homophones)
    2) Always re-read and edit sentence length and structures – where should you put commas and full stops in order to make your meaning clearer?
    3) identify and figurative language device and analyse – how has this helped to shape meaning?
